THE PARAGON WAY
01 / THE PARAGON DIFFERENCE
We believe an IT provider should earn your trust through good work, clear advice, and follow-through. That means ownership you can verify, plans you can read, and progress you can measure.
Your business should own its accounts, domains, and data. We clarify ownership and authorized access from the start.
Your business. Your foundations.
Know what’s included, what costs extra, and why a recommendation makes sense. We identify unused licenses and overlapping tools to help you avoid unnecessary costs.
Clear scope. Informed decisions.
We favor tools and arrangements that preserve your options. When a product or contract limits portability, we explain the trade-offs.
Less lock-in. More control.
02 / WHAT WE TAKE CARE OF
Everyday support and long-term thinking, working together. We define the services, responsibilities, and support hours around your business needs.

SPECIALIST SECURITY. AROUND THE CLOCK.
24/7
SECURITY PARTNERS
SOC · MDR · ITDR coverage
SECURITY IS A TEAM EFFORT.
IT is vast. We bring in focused security expertise through specialist partners. Depending on your environment and agreed plan, that may include SentinelOne Vigilance, Huntress, or Guardz.
Paragon connects specialist security work to your business—coordinating follow-up, clarifying responsibilities, and using lessons learned to strengthen your security and recovery plans.
Together, the selected services may provide 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) coverage and managed detection and response (MDR), with identity threat detection and response (ITDR) when the chosen product and license include it. Before work begins, we document covered systems, response permissions, escalation contacts, and pricing.
SELECTED SECURITY PARTNER
Security specialists monitor, investigate, and respond to threats detected by the selected services included in your plan.
PARAGON
We connect security findings to the people, systems, documentation, and next steps your business needs.
YOUR BUSINESS
Before deployment, we clarify which services are included, which systems are protected, what response permissions are in place, and who should be contacted if a threat is detected.
24/7 SOC coverage applies only to the partner services and systems covered by your selected plan. Paragon helpdesk hours and response commitments are set out separately in your service agreement.
THE WORK BEHIND THE SUPPORT
Policies, recovery plans, and review records are part of how we look after your business. Each deliverable has a named owner, a review date, and a clear next step.
COMPLIANCE SUPPORT
A customer questionnaire or audit request shouldn’t send your team hunting for answers. We help organize the requirements, the evidence you have, and the work still to do.
We support preparation and remediation. Certification and independent audit decisions remain with your assessor.
DISASTER RECOVERY & CONTINUITY
Recovery planning connects the technology to the business: what must come back first, who makes decisions, and how people keep working during disruption.
Scope, exercise frequency, recovery targets, and responsibilities are agreed for your environment.
THE PARAGON STANDARD
A document is useful when it reflects your business, someone owns it, and the next review actually happens.
03 / LESS BUSYWORK. MORE PROGRESS.
A new hire shouldn’t mean a long email chain. A departure shouldn’t leave you guessing about access.
We connect the steps, clarify who approves what, and keep you informed. Your managers can focus on their people.
Tell us who’s joining, when, and what they need.
Your manager provides the new starter’s details.
Your business approves the required setup and access.
Accounts and setup tasks move through a clear workflow.
Know what’s ready and what still needs attention.
Less chasing. A more welcoming first day.
Illustrative workflow. Available automation depends on your systems and agreed service scope.
CONTROL SHOULD COME WITH THE SERVICE.
You should be able to understand your technology, question a bill, and ask to see the plan. We connect documentation to decisions, testing, and a record of what changed.
YOUR BUSINESS, DOCUMENTED
Your accounts & ownership
Know what belongs to your business.
Your services & costs
Understand what you’re paying for.
Your priorities & next steps
See what matters and what can wait.
Your handover arrangements
Know what a future transition would involve.
Useful records. Clear responsibilities. Fewer unknowns.
PLANNING YOU CAN MEASURE
“It’s taken care of” should come with a record. We define the measures and review schedule together, then show what’s current, what’s been tested, and what needs attention.
WHY ALIGNMENT MATTERS
Published industry research shows a gap between confidence in recovery and alignment with business needs.
90%
were confident they could recover within their recovery time objectives.
69%
said those objectives fully aligned with business continuity goals.

Defined measures. Supporting records. An owner for the next action.
HOURS / MINUTES
Measured time to restore the agreed service, compared with its recovery time objective (RTO).
The record
Test date, scenario, scope, actual time, target, and result.
MINUTES / HOURS OF DATA
Age of the data recovered in a test, compared with the agreed recovery point objective (RPO).
The record
Recovered data timestamp, interruption time, target, and exceptions.
TESTS / SYSTEMS
Systems tested out of systems in scope, plus tests passed out of tests performed during the review period.
The record
Covered systems, pass/fail results, exclusions, and unresolved issues.
PERCENT REVIEWED ON TIME
Scheduled documents reviewed by their due date, divided by documents due for review in the period.
The record
Document register, approval/version, owner, and next review date.
PERCENT WITH CURRENT EVIDENCE
The percentage of applicable controls that have up-to-date supporting documentation or other evidence. This shows how much of the agreed scope is supported by evidence; it does not certify compliance.
The record
Requirements register, evidence links, gaps, and review dates.
OPEN ITEMS / DAYS OVERDUE
Open and overdue actions, their age, and who owns the next step. Unresolved risks stay visible.
The record
Priority, named owner, due date, status, and accepted exceptions.
These describe the reporting we define together, not published Paragon performance figures. Scope, targets, evidence freshness, and reporting frequency are established collaboratively. Measures with no applicable items are marked as not applicable; work not yet tested or evidenced remains visible.
04 / LET’S START WITH CLARITY
Changing IT providers can feel like a big move. We start by understanding your business and developing a practical way forward together.
Step 1
What works, where your team faces challenges, and where you want your business to go.
Step 2
Review your setup, priorities, and costs. Get practical recommendations tailored to your business and your goals.
Step 3
Establish the scope and transition plan together. Set document owners, review dates, recovery priorities, and the measures we’ll report.
We start with your needs and evaluate tools based on fit, cost, security, and portability. Our aim is to avoid unnecessary dependence on any one provider. Some products have restrictions or work best within a particular ecosystem. We explain those trade-offs before recommending a change.
We partner with Huntress for its human-led, 24/7 Security Operations Center. Huntress monitors, investigates, and responds to threats identified through the Huntress services included in your plan. Together, we define the covered systems, permissions, escalation procedures, and Paragon’s responsibilities. This security coverage is separate from Paragon’s helpdesk hours.
We review what you already have first. Any change should solve a real problem, reduce risk, or improve how your team works. We discuss recommendations and costs with you before any work begins.
We review your current services, account ownership, contracts, and access. Then we develop a transition plan with you and coordinate the handover around your business needs. Timing depends on the systems involved and your existing provider’s obligations.
We confirm the scope of work, service fees, support hours, and any additional charges with you before starting. We explain our recommendations and review unnecessary licenses or overlapping services together.
We establish ownership, documentation, and handover responsibilities up front. Your agreement sets out notice periods and any transition work or charges. Our aim is to make the process clear and preserve your choices.
We establish a document register, review schedule, and service measures together. Reviews show document owners and dates, scoped recovery-test results, evidence coverage, and open actions. You can see the supporting records and any gaps that still need attention.
Backups help you restore data. A recovery plan also sets business priorities, dependencies, responsibilities, communication, and recovery targets. A successful file restore doesn’t prove that every critical service can return within its target. We define the tests together and document what they demonstrate.
We can scope practical support for policies, technical controls, and evidence aligned with your business’s requirements. Support depends on the framework and agreed scope of work. Certification and independent audit decisions remain with the relevant assessor.
YOUR BUSINESS DESERVES BETTER IT.
Tell us what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to change. We’ll work out the next steps together.
